Seyed Ali Motevalli Haghi

Seyed Ali Motevalli Haghi has a clinical background in psychology, counselling, and neuropsychological assessment. He holds a master’s degree in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Padova, Italy, and has more than seven years of experience across mental health counselling, clinical psychology, research, and psychological assessment settings. His international clinical and research training includes internships at the Research Center for Mind, Brain and Behavior (CIMCYC) in Granada, Spain, and the Academic Medical Center of the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. During these placements, he gained experience in neuropsychological assessment, research analysis, cross-cultural questionnaire adaptation, and trauma-related research, including work related to the Persian-language adaptation of the Global Psychotrauma Screen.

Ali’s earlier clinical experience includes supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, adjustment difficulties, emotional distress, and life-transition challenges. He also brings a culturally sensitive and affirming approach to working with refugees, immigrants, and LGBTQ+ individual
