Bibi Hajira

Bibi Hajira is a PhD student in the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing at Western University. Her research focuses on immigrant women’s maternal and perinatal mental health, with particular attention to resilience, social support, and culturally responsive care. She has contributed to collaborative, community-engaged projects that address maternal health equity and has co-authored peer-reviewed publications in this field. Most recently, her work has centered on identifying health priorities and improving access to equitable, culturally safe maternity care for immigrant women in Canada.
