Shribavan Kanesamoorthy

2025-

Shribavan Kanesamoorthy is a public health researcher with an educational background in medicine. He has served as a research fellow in University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka on collaborative projects with Birmingham University and Manchester University, UK. Shribavan co-founded the community health organization SUVADI in 2010 in Sri Lanka, where he has led projects focused on malnutrition and climate change mitigation, securing funding from international donors. His research interest is in integrated knowledge translation in health systems. He is pursuing a PhD in Health Information Science, researching the uptake of Canada’s Food Guide among immigrant communities and the role of ethnocultural beliefs.
