Max Housany

Max (He/Him) is a Canadian-born Afghan who started working with the AIDS Committee of Ottawa (ACO) six months ago. Since joining the AIDS Committee of Ottawa as the incoming Men’s Outreach Coordinator, Max has facilitated ACO’s HIV self-testing kit program known as GetaKit. Furthermore, Max has worked in the fields of outreach, sexual health education, and most recently was ACO’s Pride Coordinator for 2021 where there was an emphasis on Queer BIPOC representation. Outside of work you can catch Max playing volleyball, D&D, writing, and filmmaking!
